Working meeting of Committee IV DPD RI with BPS

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) responded to the invitation from Committee IV DPD RI in a joint Working Meeting (Raker) which discussed the Discussion of the Macroeconomic Framework and the Fiscal Policy Principles of the 2025 TA Draft State Budget as well as the Discussion of the 2025-2029 RPJMN Draft and the 2025 RKP.

Deputy Chair of Committee IV DPD RI, Novita Anakotta, who opened the working meeting, asked BPS to increase cooperation with regional governments (Pemda) to provide assistance at the regional level regarding data management. This is an effort to increase the contribution of regional governments in providing accurate and quality data for central data purposes.

Plt. The Head of BPS, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, in her presentation conveyed the role of quality statistics in safeguarding Golden Indonesia 2045. Committee IV DPD RI supports the role of BPS in achieving the 2025-2045 National Long Term Development Plan, supporting the institutional strengthening of BPS through the revision of Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics, and encouraging BPS to increase harmonization and intensive cooperation with relevant stakeholders at the village level in overseeing the continuity of the Village Index through updating village development data for the year 2024.
