Focus Group Discussion

Tuesday, 28 May 2024 BPS Siau Islands Regency Tagulandang Biaro held a Focus Group Discussion with the theme "Evaluation of Village Potential Field Data Collection (PODES) 2024" which was held at the Government Auditorium of Siau Islands Regency Tagulandang Biaro. The activity was opened by the Assistant for Economy and Development of the Regional Secretary of the Siau Islands Regency, Tagulandang Biaro, Dr. Agus T. Poputra, SE, MM, M.Ak

Head of BPS Sitaro, Inke Margareth Tambeo, SST, M.Ec.Dev, said that the aim of implementing Podes 2024 is to produce data for regional development needs, providing data on regional potential, availability of infrastructure/facilities, as well as socio-economic conditions in each village/ ward. Data from the Village Potential (Podes) data collection is able to describe the potential possessed by an area at the village, sub-district and district/city levels throughout Indonesia.
