Abstract

  • The economy of North Sulawesi based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) on the basis of effective prices in the third quarter of 2024 reached Rp47.17 trillion and on the basis of constant prices in 2010 reached Rp27.04 trillion.
  • North Sulawesi's economy in the third quarter of 2024 experienced a growth of 5.21 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Accommodation and Food and Beverage Provision business field experienced the highest growth of 8.32 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Consumption Expenditure component of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (LNPRT) experienced the highest growth of 9.41 percent.
  • North Sulawesi's economy in the third quarter of 2024 grew by 1.72 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Construction business field of 20.96 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Gross Fixed Capital Formation component of 23.14 percent.
  • Cumulatively, North Sulawesi's economy in the first quarter to the third quarter of 2024 compared to the first to third quarter of 2023 grew by 5.32 percent.
