Development of Farmer Exchange Rates for North Sulawesi Province December 2024

Abstract

The North Sulawesi Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in December 2024 rose 2.56 percent to 119.50 compared to November which was 116.51. The change in NTP is due to the price index value received by farmers (It) increasing while the value of the price index paid by farmers (Ib) decreases. The Price Index received by Farmers (It) rose by 1.92 percent while the Price Index paid by Farmers (Ib) fell by 0.62 percent.
NTP on a Year to Date (YTD) or calendar year basis increased by 5.90 percent. Similarly, NTP on a Year on Year (YoY) basis also experienced the same increase. YoY Farmer Exchange Rate rose 5.90 percent.
In line with the NTP, the Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) also increased by 1.75 percent, from 118.79 in November to 120.87 in December.
